Congratulations to Alexis Taylor, our RHS Student of the Week!!
Outside Activities/Hobbies: Outside of school I love traveling with my family as well as spending time with family and friends.
Student’s Plans After Graduation: My plans after graduation are to attend South Dakota School of Mines and Technology to play Division II volleyball in the RMAC conference and pursue a degree in Biomedical Engineering.
Nominating Faculty Member(s):
Mrs. Samantha Howerton: Lexi is a creative, fun, and invested soul at RHS. She leads her peers in all things school spirit, on the volleyball court, and even throwing a heavy metal ball for track. She is also able to maintain a stellar GPA and take numerous dual credit courses. She will be sorely missed next year. Thanks for everything you do, Lexi!
Mrs. Tomi Kirkland: Want to talk about strength of character? Lexi is your girl. Wondering who has confidence and grit? This girl has it in spades. Lexi Taylor is a spectacular student: she has filled her high school years with tons of upper-level classes (and excelled in all of her classes). Lexi is a phenomenal athlete: she has played three sports for three years and plans on continuing that path her senior year. Lexi never gives up even when the going gets hard. She rises above with beauty, grace and grit. She has big plans for the future. Her genuine love of a good time and a good student section theme will leave a void when she graduates. Lexi has left her mark on RHS athletics and in my classroom. Plus, she laughs at my jokes, visits at random times of the day and is part of the best advisory group at RHS so she will be missed next year!
